The Rats Nest Run In Budget Burnout Build Off is scheduled for August 15, 2026, in Durham, New York. Builders are invited to participate by creating unique vehicles that must be pre-1972 models. There are no restrictions on money spent or parts used, and participants have a year to complete their builds. The winner, determined by burnout style, vehicle appearance, and crowd voting, will receive $1,500.
