The Wyandotte County Historical Museum will present “OldSchool Souls: Celebrating KC Car Club History – Lowrider Edition” on August 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Bonner Springs, Kansas. The event will feature a showcase of artifacts and nostalgia from the local lowrider community, highlighting the history and evolution of lowriding in Kansas City from the late 1970s onward.
The gathering includes participation from the Viejitos Car Club KC and Lowriding 2 Success. All area car clubs are invited to compete for “Best Represented Car Club” and “Deepest Car Club” awards. Solo riders will also have a chance to win car show awards. Food vendors, sponsor booths, DJs, and live entertainment will be available throughout the event.
