The Lawton Summerfest Car Show is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, on Main Street in Lawton, Mich., running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a parade.
Main Street will be blocked off for the event, as in past years. Volunteers will be stationed at the gates, and signs will direct participants on how to enter the show area. Additional details on entry procedures will be released closer to the event date.
Entry fee for vehicle participants is $15, with proceeds going toward the Summerfest Fund. Admission is free for spectators.
The show will feature four vehicle classes: 1959 and earlier; 1960 through 1979; 1980 to current; and Modified Vehicles. Trophies, music, and food will also be part of the event.
