About this event
The Freedom Festival Car Show returns as a Fourth of July tradition, bringing together car enthusiasts for a celebration of classic, vintage, and custom vehicles. Visitors can walk through rows of unique rides, speak with owners, and appreciate the craftsmanship behind everything from antique classics to modern muscle cars.
Day-of-event check-in begins at 6:30 a.m. on July 4, with the car show officially starting at 8:00 a.m. Admission is free. Vehicle registration is $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the event. The show is judged, with awards including Top 25 and categories such as Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Wheels, Rat Rods, Motorcycles, and Best in Show.
A Pancake Breakfast will be held the same day at the Veterans Memorial Building. The event also introduces a new Pinewood Derby Races competition for children, in which participants build and race their own cars. Car kits — including wheels, weights, and decorating supplies — are included, courtesy of Pathfinder Outdoor Education Center. Only 50 spots are available at $10 per participant, with racing running from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Registration is available at freedomfestival.com.
Sponsors include True North and Cub Scouts Pack 20.
