Cruisin’ Rocky Mount

Monthly event (April - November) on the first Saturday of each month.
Cruisin’ Rocky Mount is a local organization dedicated to continuing the Cruising tradition in their town. The committee of 13 work diligently to gather local sponsorships and plan events that are engaging for the entire community. April 6, 2023 is the kickoff event for the 2023 season. Cars quickly fill the streets and the four different parking lots throughout town. Cruisin’ Rocky Mount is designed to keep traffic moving throughout town as reflected by their motto #KeepitinDrive. Different lots throughout town include activities for the kids, food trucks, retail vendors, 50/50 drawings and sponsors sharing about their local businesses. The town comes alive and the local restaurants and businesses benefit from the influx of cars and pedestrians. Cars of all varieties are invited to cruise, there are no restrictions. This free monthly event focuses on actual cruising! These events are not only a car enthusiasts dream, but they fund a variety of projects throughout the year including scholarships, donations to local animal shelters, providing Thanksgiving meals and Christmas gifts to families throughout Franklin County, Virginia.
