Caffeine & Carburetors

Caffeine & Carburetors is a gathering of automotive enthusiasts, meeting in New Canaan to enjoy our rides and share them with like-minded enthusiasts hiding in and around Connecticut and New York and beyond.

Doug Zumbach began hosting these gatherings in 1995. These Sundays start around 8 am to gather and enjoy a cup of coffee, followed by a leisurely drive through the countryside, drawing town residents and families (and their dogs!) as well as visitors from neighboring municipalities and states to enjoy the cars and the charm of New Canaan and its restaurants and shops.

SHOW VEHICLE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• All show vehicles MUST have a physical registration tag to enter Waveny Park event — NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Tags are strictly checked at the gate. Vehicles without a tag are not permitted to enter the show and will be redirected out of the Park.
• Physical tags are required (do not plan to show on phone)
• Register here  to get your tag
• Register by October 10: We’ll mail your tag.
• Register after October 10: Pick it up at Zumbach’s Gourmet Coffee Directions Link before the event.
• Morning-of pickup is available, ending at 7:30 AM; after that, you must park in a spectator lot.

EVENT DAY DETAILS FOR SHOW CARS

• Must arrive by 7:30 AM and remain parked until 11:00 AM.
• This is a parked event — no late arrivals or early departures allowed for pedestrian safety.
• No revving or burnouts allowed — this is a residential area.
• No unauthorized business solicitation — this is strictly enforced.
