Pete Boccarossa isn’t just an automotive enthusiast. He’s an automotive enthusiast’s enthusiast. Pete collects cars and motorcycles. And not just any cars. Unique cars – the stuff that you don’t ever see in the US. And he has this thing for racing motorcycles. Pete’s collection is big. He needed a place to store them – well some of them – so he built his own personal storage facility on 12 acres of land in Bethel.
Other people have done that. What make’s Pete’s place so unique?
Pete’s place also contains a body shop, an engine shop, a paint shop, and an upholstery shop. There’s a clubhouse. And there’s an event space. And 5 perfectly flat, un-obstructed acres of asphalt for car shows.

There will be 3 food trucks, an ice cream truck, music and (after dark) Cannonball Run will be playing on a 50′ outdoor movie screen. There’s no charge to attend, but we’re limiting the number of cars for the party to 1,000 (seriously). That means if you want to be on the list, you have to RSVP using this link: https://carsandcoffeedarien.com/event/bocca-motors-opening/.
But that’s not you.
You’re the type who’d drive an hour for a parking lot full of stories. Who knows the good stuff doesn’t always show up on Instagram. Who wants to find the hidden ones — the cruise nights, concours events. car shows, day trip rallies, backroad coffee runs, and cars and coffee get-togethers.
That’s what we send you. Twice a week in winter. Four times in summer.
Curated. Local(ish). And always worth the drive.

Because missing the good ones? That’s not your style.
