9th Annual Monona County Veterans Memorial Car & Bike Show

The 9th Annual Monona County Veterans Memorial Car & Bike Show will take place in Onawa, Iowa, on August 16, 2026. Hosted by The “Classics” Car Club and the Monona County Veteran’s Memorial Museum, the event is held at the Monona County Fairgrounds next to the Onawa Museum Complex. Registration is open from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon, and awards will be presented at 3:30 pm in front of the Veteran’s Memorial.

Entry is by free-will donation, with 100% of proceeds supporting future additions to the Veteran’s Memorial Museum. The first 175 entries receive a dash plaque. Over 60 awards will be given, including Top 10 Veteran’s Choice, Tony Blatchford Memorial – Kool 16, and best-in-category trophies. Motorcycle-specific awards and a Kids Show & Shine are scheduled, with top entries recognized in each group. The event coincides with Onawa’s 44th Annual Swap Meet & Flea Market Weekend. Local museums will be open for tours all day.
