About this event
The 76th Vehicle Show will occur in Illinois on Saturday, September 12, at the State Capitol Complex in downtown Springfield. This event has a history that dates back to 1949, originally starting as an Antique Auto Meet. It now features a range of vehicles, including antique and classic cars, sports cars, motorcycles, trucks, and tractors.
Participants must arrive and park by 10 a.m. at the registration table located at the Capitol Complex Visitors Center. The judging process begins at 11 a.m., following a judges’ meeting at 10:45 a.m. Awards will be presented at 3:30 p.m., with prizes for first, second, and third place in at least 60 classes. Additionally, an Illinois State Champion award will be given to the best vehicle as determined by the Vehicle Show Advisory Committee. This year’s show will honor a Marquee Award winner, which highlights a different automobile manufacturer each year.
This event is open to spectators free of charge and will take place rain or shine.
