2026 Des Moines Concours

Experience one of the Midwest’s premier automotive exhibitions at the 2026 Des Moines Concours d’Elegance, returning to downtown Des Moines on Sunday, September 13.

Held surrounding the internationally recognized John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park, the Des Moines Concours showcases carefully selected vintage, classic, exotic, and special-interest vehicles that celebrate the art, design, innovation, and engineering of the automobile.

Visitors can explore an extraordinary collection of vehicles spanning more than a century of automotive history, from brass-era antiques and elegant classics to powerful muscle cars, motorcycles, and rare exotics. Special featured classes for 2026 include a celebration of Pontiac’s 100th Anniversary and a showcase of vehicles that inspired the beloved characters from Pixar’s Cars movies.

The free, family-friendly event also includes food trucks, local vendors, interactive exhibits, LEGO displays, radio-controlled car racing, photo opportunities, and activities for all ages.

The weekend begins on Saturday, September 12, with the Des Moines Concours Charity Gala at the Krause Gateway Center. The Gala features fine dining, entertainment, exclusive vehicles, and unique auction experiences while supporting two important causes.

Proceeds from the Des Moines Concours benefit Children’s Cancer Connection, which serves Iowa families affected by childhood cancer, and the Des Moines Concours Automotive Heritage Grant, which supports automotive education programs in Iowa high schools.
