About this event
The 12th Annual REACH Car Show proudly presents a special tribute to two legendary figures who helped shape American car culture from the garage to the airwaves: Gene Winfield and Brian Wilson.
Widely known as the “King of Kustoms,” Gene Winfield was a pioneering force in hot rods and custom cars. Over an extraordinary eight-decade career, his visionary designs, masterful fabrication, and signature “Winfield Fade” paint technique redefined automotive artistry. His influence extended far beyond the street—Winfield’s custom creations graced the silver screen in iconic productions like Blade Runner and Star Trek.
Brian Wilson, the creative genius behind the Beach Boys, brought car culture to life through music. Though not a mechanic himself, Wilson’s songwriting captured the spirit, energy, and freedom of Southern California’s hot rod scene. With timeless classics like “409,” “Little Deuce Coupe,” and “Fun, Fun, Fun,” he transformed the roar of engines and the thrill of the open road into an enduring cultural soundtrack.
This year’s featured exhibit showcases a curated collection of vehicles that reflect both icons’ distinctive legacies—celebrating the craftsmanship of custom car design alongside the cultural impact of the music that made it legendary.
