Eric has been in digital marketing for nearly 25 years. A seasoned veteran of the interactive industry, he started building web sites in 1996 when few people knew what the internet was. Over the years he has worked for a number of large advertising agencies including Ammirati Puris Lintas, Grey Advertising and Dentsu’s 360i. After a stint as Head of Audience Development for Complex Networks, he left the corporate world to launch Stand On It Marketing as a way of blending his love of marketing with his love of cars. Cars and Coffee Events is his latest venture.
Eric’s been a car geek all his life. His first car was a 1967 Camaro convertible and and he was hooked. Among the 30+ cars he’s owned since then are a rare 4-speed 1969 R-code 428 CobraJet Mustang Mach 1 with a factory Hurst shifter, a 1 of 200 1971 Yenko Turbo Stinger Vega GT, a Euro-spec 1971 Corvette, a 1974 Corvette-powered Chevy van that he built for the Cannonball Run, a 1965 Triumph TR4A IRS, three Mazda Miatas, a 2002 Porsche Boxster and a trophy-winning 1991 Nissan 300 ZX found in a barn in Oregon.
Eric is a longtime member of the infamous Madison Avenue Sports Car Driving and Chowder Society, the Nutmeg Miata Club, and the Seaport Car Club. He is a past Board Member of the Connecticut Valley Region of the Porsche Club of America and a former Editor of the Porsche Club’s magazine, Challenge. He is also a credentialed member of the International Motor Press Association.
