DESCRIPTION:In 2019\, the Graham Family received the incredibly heartbreaking and devastating news that every parent fears; their sweet\, fun-loving\, adventurous\, four-year-old son Tristen was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at Valley Children’s Hospital in Fresno. Tristen’s leukemia went into remission in December of 2021.\n\nOn Monday\, April 3\, 2023\, the Grahams received more devastating news… Tristen’s cancer had come back\, and he was immediately admitted back into Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera.\n\nTristen will be at Valley Children’s in Madera receiving treatment at Valley Children’s in Madera for the next 6 weeks and then transferred to Stanford to receive a bone marrow transplant. With such a recent diagnosis\, this is all that we know at this time for his plan for treatment; we will update you with new information as that information comes in.\n\nAcute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a cancer that affects the white blood cells. These cells fight infection and help protect the body against disease. Patients with ALL have too many immature white blood cells in their bone marrow. These cells crowd out normal white blood cells. Without enough normal white blood cells\, the body has a harder time fighting infections.\n\nALL affects a type of white blood cell called lymphocytes\, causing them to build up in the liver\, spleen\, and lymph nodes.\n\nAs you know medical expenses and the day-to-day expenses that come with having a child in the hospital for any amount of time can be very overwhelming. Tiffanie will likely be taking some time off of work for the foreseeable future to care for Tristen during this time. Losing an income on top of all of the new bills and travel to a new location (San Francisco)\, and expenses will undoubtedly be very challenging\, which is why this GoFundMe was created. We host monthly drives from March through November so plan your Tail of the Dragon trip now! \nJoin us for a full day of spirited driving where take you on a guided tour through the greatest driving roads in America\, located in the Smoky Mountains and including the legendary Tail of the Dragon. You’ll join like-minded car enthusiasts in sports cars\, exotic cars and luxury cars and we have everything from Mustangs to McLarens attend. Each event we average people that have travelled from 10 different states\, so you never know what new life-long friend you will meet. It’s like a Cars and Coffee\, where you actually get to drive! We have all the stops planned\, have photographers that drive along with us\, have a scheduled photoshoot and have a catered dinner waiting at the conclusion. You just show up with your car ready\, and we will handle the rest! \nWe are local to the area and know all the popular roads\, but also the less travelled roads that are just as amazing. Our routes are totally different every month and range from 220-290 miles. We always drive the Tail of the Dragon at least once during every event and will also drive such roads as the Cherohala Skyway\, Foothills Parkway\, Blue Ridge Parkway\, Moonshiner 28\, Hellbender\, Devil’s Triangle and many more! This event is capped at 50 cars so don’t miss out!
