Ken Block Tribute Drive in conjunction with the PCH Night Cruise XI.

With the recent passing of Ken Block, I thought it would be fitting to pay tribute. If you have any Hoonigan swag display it on your car at the PCH Night Cruise XI meetup this Friday night 1/6/23 @ 10PM…..

“Where the Cars are the Stars…” The Metro Cruise is one of the biggest events overall in West Michigan, seeing 100,000 people during week-long events in August.  It is well established and is celebrating it’s 18th annual edition in 2023.  Attendees gather at hundreds of events across 28th Street, with the official Main Events sites at Rogers Plaza Mall and Woodland Mall seeing the majority of attendees.  Over 60,000 people come through the Rogers Plaza Main Event site alone during the 2 day event.  Metro Cruise is very community focused, and all areas of the event are accessible and free of charge.  An in-kind partnership with The Rapid bus system provides free rides to attendees getting down to the Main Event.  At the Main Event sites alone, there are 10 local band performances, a diverse collection of over 400 collector cars, kid’s entertainment tents, safety demonstrations from numerous law enforcement agencies, a dyno car test area where cars rev up to 160mph+, giveaways and freebies from over 40 sponsor vendor spaces, the popular Miss Metro Cruise Finale, over 25 food trucks and vendors, a community awards ceremony involving local Mayors, and more!  And just brought back last year, we are excited to continue to build the Dream Wheels event – a red-carpet, ultra high-end showcase of rare and beautiful cars.  For regular updates or more information follow our Facebook page or website.

Please join us on Sunday, October 2 as we enjoy a leaf-peeping route through some of the most scenic roads in Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts.

We will meet at 10:00 a.m. at 109 Cheese and Wine in Kent, CT, and will depart at 10:30 am sharp. Kent is a great place to spend the morning. Even better, for our car folks, you’ll want to check out 109’s all-new auto-themed WKNDR Club – a perfect place to catch up with friends.

The drive (pictured) is 103 miles long on well-maintained 2-lane roads through rural farm and horse country. There are 4 stop lights and almost no traffic. Travel time should be 2.5 hours (if we pay attention to the posted speed limits).

Our drive ends at the picturesque Millerton Inn in Millerton, NY where (those of us who are so inclined) can have lunch. (The Steak and Eggs and the Eggs Benedict are amazing.) After lunch, you can leave your cars and walk around the historic village – one of the coolest small towns in New York.

We’re limiting the number of participants to 30 cars.

Cost: $20 (per person, not per car) and includes complimentary coffee courtesy of 109 Cheese and Wine. All cars & bikes, all years, are welcome. You will be responsible for paying for your own lunch at the Millerton Inn.

Please purchase your tour tickets using the form below. 50% of all money collected will be donated to Save A Lab Rescue.
