DESCRIPTION:Coming to our Town Common—Belchertown Lions Club’s First Annual Car Show!! \nMark your calendars folks for August 10th\, 2024 when our local Lions Club will be holding its first “Cruisin’ the Common” car show from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on our Town Common.\nHundreds of vintage and modern cruise vehicles will be competing for 26 trophies…with all proceeds from the event going to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation!\nBring the entire family as admission is free for spectators!  The Lions Club will have its Food Wagon set up next to the Gazebo/Bandstand and serving freshly prepared hot dogs\, burgers\, and meatball grinders (This will be the club’s monthly meatball grinder sale for August!)   Come hungry and eat heartily as you cruise the common and enjoy the cars and trucks from yesteryear on display along with the more recent vintages of sporty and collectible vehicles!\nDozens of gift certificates\, meals\, services\, and products donated by local establishments will be raffled off at 1:00 PM—just prior to the awarding of the trophies for the best-of-the-best vehicles in the competition.\nMore information and updates for those wishing to enter their vehicle in the car show competition are accessible by logging into\n www.belchertownlionsclub.com/car-show.htm
