3rd Annual David Briggs Memorial Car Show in Hooks, TX.  The Show is a Full Class Show and donates 100% of everything raised to The Hooks Children’s Ministry that has existed for 46 years, providing Christmas presents and daily needs to needy families in Hooks, TX.  The show is named after my father, David Briggs who lived and breathed to improve and serve his hometown of Hooks, TX.  He purchased toys each week while grocery shopping to donate to The Hooks Children’s Ministry and he also is the person who turned me onto classic cars/trucks and hotrods.  My dad passed away in 2015 and in 2020 I stepped out of vocational youth ministry.  I have put on car shows since 2013 as a church fundraiser, but when I changed careers, I decided to memorialize my father with a Car Show that benefits his favorite charity in his favorite place.
