28th Street Metro Cruise

August 25 @ 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

Free

“Where the Cars are the Stars…” The Metro Cruise is one of the biggest events overall in West Michigan, seeing 100,000 people during week-long events in August.  It is well established and is celebrating it’s 18th annual edition in 2023.  Attendees gather at hundreds of events across 28th Street, with the official Main Events sites at Rogers Plaza Mall and Woodland Mall seeing the majority of attendees.  Over 60,000 people come through the Rogers Plaza Main Event site alone during the 2 day event.  Metro Cruise is very community focused, and all areas of the event are accessible and free of charge.  An in-kind partnership with The Rapid bus system provides free rides to attendees getting down to the Main Event.  At the Main Event sites alone, there are 10 local band performances, a diverse collection of over 400 collector cars, kid’s entertainment tents, safety demonstrations from numerous law enforcement agencies, a dyno car test area where cars rev up to 160mph+, giveaways and freebies from over 40 sponsor vendor spaces, the popular Miss Metro Cruise Finale, over 25 food trucks and vendors, a community awards ceremony involving local Mayors, and more!  And just brought back last year, we are excited to continue to build the Dream Wheels event – a red-carpet, ultra high-end showcase of rare and beautiful cars.  For regular updates or more information follow our Facebook page or website.

Sign Up For A List of Events
Oh sure, you could come back here week after week to look for a list of car stuff to do, but why bother?

Just insert your email in this handy form. We'll send you a list of car shows, cruises, coffee runs, etc. for the next 7 days every Tuesday morning with a follow-up of weekend events on Friday.

That should leave you plenty of time to polish the car.
